Mission:

Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan ensures schooling for all; Roopkatha intends to play symbiotic role where overall development is concerned and ensure overall development of an underprivileged and/or special need child from rural Bengal (to start with); inclusive education in an integrated set up by dedicated local volunteers through Resource Centers.

Provide these children a childhood that they never experienced, recreational and counseling services and help them to become useful members of the society.

Make available a secure place where these children can play and enjoy their childhood.

Arrange training for the selected volunteers to be able to offer meaningful education and overall development to the children.

Impart short term vocational training to these volunteers and young adults to make them functionally skilled to earn independent livelihood.

Implement programs on Bio Farming and Bio-diversity as part of vocational training.

Organize and conduct camps for assessment and diagnosis of disabilities and intervention for the children and young adults with disabilities in rural area.

Conduct sensitization and awareness programs, training and workshops for communities, Govt. and Private Primary and Secondary Schools on Inclusive Education in rural and urban areas.

Make the community aware of the Government programme and facilities and assist them to access and avail these facilities.
