Program for children with LD

ROOPKATHA FOUNDATION joins hands with Pune-based DR. ANJALI MORRIS EDUCATION AND HEALTH FOUNDATION (AMF) to work in the field of Identification and Remediation of Learning Difficulties of the school going children in the city of Kolkata.

ANJALI MORRIS EDUCATION AND HEALTH FOUNDATION, a non-profit organization based in Pune, seeks to help students with Learning Disorders (LDs) by offering remedial educational assistance and by training teachers to work with such students. AMF was founded in 2008 to expand and further develop the BOLD Program. The Foundation runs Teacher Training Program, Parents Program and Resource Center in the schools and works with Pune Municipal Corporation and Sarva Shiksha Mission to help  students with Learning Disorders. Over the past ten years, the Foundation assisted more than 3000 students.

Supported by AMF, ROOPKATHA FOUNDATION offers:

• To set up and run LEARNING DIFFICULTIES REMEDIATION CENTER (LDRC) in the interested schools of Kolkata & Districts for the selected group of students having different kinds of Learning Difficulties and Scholastic Backwardness.

• To conduct Orientation Program for the school teachers and parents on the Identification and Remediation of the Learning Difficulties of the students.

• To provide technical assistance to the interested schools to set up and run LEARNING DIFFICULTIES REMEDIATION CENTER (LDRC).
